Payment

Land of Hope accepts online payments with Visa, and Mastercard. The payment will only be debited from your account when we dispatch the item, unless otherwise agreed or indicated by your order. When using the payment card, both debit and credit, there is a reservation of the amount you are purchasing. The amount is reserved until we have processed and dispatched your order. Once the order is dispatched, the funds are debited from the account.

Using a Debit Card
If you use a debit card, you will see that the funds are reserved on your account, and your available balance appears to be less. If you cancel your order, or we cancel your order, we cannot debit the funds, but the reservation will still be in effect for a period.

Only your bank (or card issuer) can lift the reservation.

Using a Credit Card
Funds will only be debited from your account and appear on your account overview when we process and debit the payment for your order.

Currency
All amounts on Land of Hope’s webshop include VAT. We use the following currencies for pricing: Denmark – Kroner (DKK), Euro (EUR)

Security
Land of Hope uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with SSL protocol, meaning your data is secure and cannot be read by outsiders. Land of Hope’s own website also uses encryption with SSL protocol.

Delivery

The delivery time for your order is 1-3 business days.

Return Policy

There is a 14-day full right of return on goods purchased on the webshop unless otherwise agreed or indicated by your order. The 14-day period starts the day the order is delivered. You bear any return costs yourself. If you wish to return, you must notify us no later than 14 days after delivery, and the goods must be returned to us no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your use of the right of withdrawal.

Send an email to info@landofhope.dk and clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

Condition of the Item Upon Return
If the value of the item has decreased, you are liable for this decrease in value. You may test the item in the same way as if you were shopping in a physical store. However, if the item is tested beyond what is necessary to handle it, it is considered used and of diminished value. This means that if you withdraw from the purchase, you will receive a lesser part or none of the purchase amount returned. It is up to Land of Hope to assess the condition of the item.

Customer & Privacy Policy

We do not resell personal information and do not disclose your personal information to others. They are only registered in our customer database. You can have your information deleted at any time. For you to shop at Land of Hope, we need the following information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email

We register your personal data for the purpose of delivering the goods to you. The personal data is registered with Land of Hope and kept for up to five years, after which it is deleted. When collecting personal data through our website, we ensure that it is done upon your explicit consent, so that you are informed about exactly what information is collected and why.

We do not store and transmit customer information encrypted. As a registered customer at Land of Hope, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to know what information is registered about you. These rights are pursuant to the Data Protection Act, and contact regarding this should be addressed to info@landofhope.dk.

Cookies are used on shop.landofhope.global for the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionality, thereby making your visit as easy as possible. You can delete cookies from your computer at any time.

Statistics
We use a log statistic on shop.landofhope.global, which means that a statistics system collects information that can give a statistical picture of how many customers we have, where they come from, and where on the website they leave us, etc. The log statistics are only used for the purpose of optimizing Land of Hope’s website.

Complaints

The EU Commission’s online complaint portal can be used when filing a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country.
