We are Land of Hope
Land of Hope is a nonprofit organization founded by the danish humanitarian worker, Anja Lovén. We are dedicated to saving ‘witch children’ in West Africa. Every year, over 10,000 children in Nigeria are accused of being witches because of superstition. The children are made scapegoats due to poverty and ignorance, and they are abandoned, tortured, and ultimately killed by superstitious adults. Land of Hope has rescued 98 children who now live with hope for the future at our children’s center in Nigeria.
